electric problem...

hello all, going to be looking at a car tonight (clio 1.4 rt 1994).... spoke to the guy and asked him to be honest on the phone, he said sometimes the lights on the dash that light up flicker sometimes on and off... anyone know what this could be? a common problem?

im hoping it might just be a simple electric problem, fuse blown?

earth problem maybe, wont be hard to fix to be honest, basic electrical systems on early clios
