i eventually got round to trying to find out why i couldnt open or close my passengers window with the button on the drivers side - after a while messing around with it, it just seems like theres a dodgy connection between the wires and the switch on the drivers door, if i held the wires in a certain position it would work, if i let go then it stopped -

great, ive found the problem but anyone know how to fix it?

look for chavys on the wire as it could have rubbed with time. or it could possible be a broken strained in the wire so either re crimp it or rewire it

the wires look in perfect condition - it looks like its a dodgy conection between the wires and the plug that clips into the button - i just dont know how you could repair this or if it would be easy to replace?
