Electrics Problem ..

had a bit of this before. read one of the threads on here a while back and managed to fix it ok. it's been all good up until now, but now its came back, worse too. when braking basically all the indicators flash up, front back, everywhere. just got back from work and parked up the car, switched the lights off etc, had it in reverse and the dials were lit up with the two indicator signals on. anyone any ideas to what it could be ? the cars used pretty much everyday so im a bit paranoid! cheers lads

Think it could be a Earthing problem you have, theres a couple of earth points you could check,

Driver side rear light under the carpet theres a earth point which is bolted on so might have come lose, theres also 3 under the dash aswell, but they should be fine if you havnt removed the dash recently

^ done this today n everything is ok now. snapped one of the screws but still found a way ha cheers for that mate

I read somewhere that people have been cleaning the connector blocks on the back light clusters with wd40. They had the same sorta symptoms just not as many dash lights lighting up as you. Could try that maybe?
