Elf sticker in the back window....

KMB

Car  Clio 200 Cup
I cannot stand them (in fact not keen on any stickers in car windows), did anyone else remove it within the first day of picking up their Clio? :D

Perhaps I'm in a minority here and you like them?

Much prefer the clean look, if anyone is planning on removing the sticker make sure you warm it up or at least put the rear window heater on... You don't want to accidently damage the filaments

I've kept mine in along with the 5 stars safety sticker.

I need to take the shity dealer sticker out though.

:D I don't want to be sexist... but glad a lady said that not a man :approve:

I've never actually understood the Elf sticker being in the rear window of the clio.

It's Elf oil in the engine, who gives a s**t.

Saying that I couldn't be arsed to remove it.

it will be a deal that renault have with ELF no doubt. They sponsor renault for practically exerything. Good business if you ask me. Easy to remove for you haters out there ;)

My thoughts precisely!
2nd thing I do is replace the free advertising in the tax disc holder from the supplying dealer - replace it with the simple magnetic ones from halfrauds.

can't stand stickers adverts etc anywhere in the car.

Can't be bothered to remove it! I only take the dealer stickers off, but it didn't have one of those.

Or you could always use a Cliosport tax disc holder. ;)
How much will they pay me ;):D.

Good point though - just might have a look through the shop

Edit - nooooo - tax disc holders should just be big enough to hold the tax disc - little pockets for breakdown card etc are just wrong :dead:

Dealer sticker came off as it was effecting my view 5star ncap was wonky so I took it off the tax disc I've not got round to swaping yet the elf one didn't bother me so I left it on

Got rid of the dealer sticker and n-cap stars sticker when I got it. Yesterday I changed my plates, put a cs tax disc holder on and got rid of the elf sticker. I also put a cs yellow url on, but it's the wrong yellow so that won't be on there long.

Dunno, i kinda feel its part of all Renaults, so i leave it. The ones i do remove are dealer, and the Renault register ones fitted to driver/passenger windows

I had a Laguna (RXE Airflow) years ago, sticker also came straight out of that, guess I must be a stickerist

I peeled mine out , but cant seem to shift the sticky backing left behind . Any ideas how i can get it off without making a mess ?

Genuine and kinda says cars not been rear ended imo. When its not there it makes me think why?
There will be better clues to a cat c than missing elf stickers :D

You can look for doors not closing properly or body panels mis-matching.

Oh - hang on - they're like that when they leave the factory ;):D

Also rear screens don't always break when cars are rear ended

To remove use a solvent, I used acetone (nail varnish remover), but a dab of petrol on a cloth will also work, so will furniture polish or methylated spirit.

I removed mine to make space for the Cliosport.net sticker

I didn't put my Cliosport sticker in, stopped at the cut down tax disc holder.
