Hi there.

I own a sport 172 and they are rare as rocking horse s**t out here (although i saw about 4 of em in a couple of weeks recently). If you check out Aussie websites or the V8 supercar series you will get a good idea of what they think is a good motor. Massive engines and even bigger bodies (the latest Holden GTS is 6L and about 400 brake.) The Ford equivalant is the Falcon GT-P v8 or tornado v6 turbo.
The other day i had a GT-P driver wondering why he was'nt escaping from a tiny little shopping car....PRICELESS

Not when they see my Manc monkey walk!

Thing is with their barges, the max speed limit is 110k's and that is on country roads (they never travel more than 10k's from their houses so they are unlikely to encounter these) and the max limit on the freeway is 100kph so you have to ask yourself what the point is? At least they sound good when they waste 50litres of petrol revving em at the lights!
