enamel for renault diamond?

just wondering if i'd be able to use some plasti-kote 'fast dry enamel' (aerosol) for spraying my renault diamond, or would it just be better to use the sanding/primer/spray paint method?

Most people tend to sand, primer and spray their plastic bits.

I dont like that fast dry enamel stuff, Seems to always stay sticky.

Get some halfords paint and laquer if you can.
