How did you get the 2.0 16v badges on? Are they painted on? Just had my engine cover resprayed to match the colour of the car.

took the the oil cover to a graphics place that does sign etc for cars and vans they made it up,

as for painting,

1. rub down old paint with low grade wet and dry
2. spay primer
3.high grade wet and dry rub primer down between coats
4.leave to dry for a day
5.marsk off different areas
6. spay thin coats on each area
7. spay 1 at a time not both in one day leave paint to dry for at least a day before going near it
8, spay other section
9. leave to dry again
10. spray lacquer on few coats leave about 10 mins per coat do around 2 to 3
11.leave to dry for 2-3 days just to make sure

oh sorry like said before most metal polishers will do it for you, i took it somewhere to much hard work to do it yourself
