Engine management light but no code

Done dash check and no code comes up after dash light comes on could this be low engine oil as just bought it and it had no oil in ?oil to go in later today

Make sure your cruise control is in the off position to show the oil level indicator .
You had no oil at all ? That doesn't sound good :astonished:

If there was no oil in it, then it's probably already dead

Put oil in engine seems spot on ,light goes off when you start driving ,other than that it's great good fun

eml has sod all to do with oil level.
