Engine Management Light

Hey guys!

So, I have an '05 plate 182...

The other day for no reason my engine management light popped on.

Now, the ONLY thing I can think that might of caused this is a full tank of RON 95 petrol...Since I got her in April all I've used is shell V-Power.

Was on for a good 100 miles (the last 3rd of my RON 95 tank), I then filled up with V-power and about 50 miles later it just randomly went off!!


Do I sound mad?? Or is this a normal occurance?

Probably the oxy sensor detecting change in emissions - you cant pin point the problem if its intermittent. If it happens again try to get it on a diagnostic whilst the lights still on.

It's stayed off but if it does come back I'll get it diagnosed!

Mine used to come on when i changed fuels, used to run 3 tanks of normal to 1 super unleaded, now just super. Hope this helps.
