Engine noise at 40mph!

  Clio Sport 172
Hey Guys

Was wondering if someone could help me - just had a new exhaust put on my 02 172, went for the standard renault one, but I have this sort of hum/whine that kicks in at about 40mph. Just basically wondered if anyone knew what the cause of this might be as it is beginning to get a bit annoying at motorway speeds. Any help would be apprciated - thanks boys and girls

well its gotta be the exhaust surely? not mounted right and rubbing against something?
Sounds fairly obvious to me if it was not doing it before

I think u mean the centrifugal superturbo booster attached to the carbon holder "Jiffer" (in my garage slang/terminology)

Simply disconnect the H-P122 fuse, and this "annoying" "whinning" sound should dissapear in 7-8.54 hours

Thanks for your help
