Engine running problem

Usually in the morning when i fire her up and get going the engine warning light will come on not the one with (STOP) in it but on the far right, it doest come on right away but once i have got going, as well as this the car will judder when the accelerator is down to a certain point.
Is this just a case of needing to warm up (although im not pushing it up the revs) Any advice would be appreciated.

Not overly sure about the 1.2.

The engine light you describe if its amber in the right hand corner of dash then that is the o2 lambda sensor saying that the emmissions are kicking out, and the results are being read wrong. IIRC someone said that the lambda sensor if faulty will cause the car to judder as this regulates the fuel air mix based on emmissions readouts at the lamba sensor.

If it's flashing, somethings broked. If it sa=tays on solid then I wouldn't be overly worried.

Yeah it stays solid, then goes off after a while. When it goes off the temp gauge immedietly starts to go up, if that helps with finding out the problem.
