Engine sounding very loud (1.2)

Basically, when i go over 2-3k revs, my engine sounds really loud, only way to describe, is if i was driving at about 5000k revs all the time but really im only doing 3000rpm

Any ideas what the problem could be ?

Exhaust gasket, where the exhaust manifold meets the engine.

When this deteriorates it can make the car very noisy.

check the whole exhaust system make sure there are no breaks or leaks too
