Megane R26
Today saw me travel to a (luckily!) Sunny Stoke for an Enhancement Detail on this rather lovely Jaguar XK8 (4.2 litres of V8 goodness!)
The car itself was in superb condition generally, but was covered in tree sap, particularly on the roof, and needed a general tidy up/cleanse.
Some befores:

So, as ever, wheels, tyres and arches first with G101 and Smart Wheels, along with an assortments of brushes (Envy Brushes and Wheel Woolies)
Then, time for Snow Foam.
Megs Hyper Wash:

Then:
- Shuts and Sills with G101
- Car washed with Hyper Wash and CYC Pad
- Clayed with Elite PolyClay and AS Reglaze as Lube
The car looked well before I started claying, but the side skirts in particular needed some attention

The car was then rewashed, and dried using an Elite Uber Towel.
I then assessed the paint for swirling and paint depth. The average was about 280 microns, so plenty to play with. I struggled to capture the swirling on camera, but it wasn't particularly bad anyway.
Despite knowing that I'd be using the Jeffs Werkstat Acyrlic Kit as my LSP, I decided to machine polish with Lime Prime as it breaks down very quickly, and does a great job of cleansing paintwork.
After half of the roof...

I was struggling slightly with LP as it seemed to be 'sticking' to the paint, particularly on the roof and bonnet, but I put this down to the tree sap.
A few pics after polishing, but before LSP:

and after all of that... 4 VERy dirty Megs Polishing pads. I also used a larger 3M pad on the bonnet, and that was filthy too - never seen so much crap extracted from paintwork before!

Next up, I:
- Cleansed the paintwork by hand with Jeffs Prime, to ensure the following Jett Trigger would bond correctly
- Alloys with Prime then Collinite 845
- Exhuast with Megs NXT
- Tyres with Pinnacle Black Onyx
- Paintwork was sealed with 3x Jett Trigger and 1x Glos
- Glass with 3M Glass Cleaner
Finally, some afters...
