ERR CD

Lo all,

I'm currently experiencing the dash saying ERR CD when I try to play a CD. What could be causing this??

I've tried the multi changer and this works fine, however the cd player does not??

doesn't like that cd ..... try another , or the heads might need cleaning .

Is it blank Cd's you have burned music on ?

I've tried two different CD's one official and one I made myself. Both with ERR CD.

you could try a lens cleaner but it prob needs replacing

I've had this too for the last month or so. All CDs load and play OK, bit after a few minutes the display turns to 'ERR CD' and you can only adjust volume but not swap tracks. Switching from CD to radio and back cures it temporarily......

PS I have a single CD, not multichanger.

Done a CS search on this but don't see a solution, other than a swap under warranty.

mine was doing it aswell, fine with official discs just hated copy's ended up buying an uprated cd player to get rid of the problem.

personally if it kep playing up id just go for a nice aftermarket one
