ERROR 3

No cds in my Lexus Last night it made a loud crackling noise then I got the above error on the display. I cant unload any of the cds. The cds load in via the face plate.

Any ideas before it goes into the dealer?

Knocked the lens out of position or damaged it? Tried a lens cleaning CD?

I cant get anything ejected to try.

sounds like a disc jam m8.

have a look here, some1 else had similar probs and fixed it.

Mine came up with the dreaded "ERR3" message a couple of days ago. There were 2 discs jammed in it that wouldnt come out.
I removed the radio and undid the 2 screws on the back to lift the lid off it.
Once the lid was off i could see that one of the discs had jumped into two of the disc carriers, jamming it solid.
I carefully popped the disc back into its own carrier, and plugged it back into the car.
It all worked fine after that.
I rang my Lexus dealer and the offered to replace it anyway.
Got my new one today ,and fitted it..... sounds bassier than the old one.

Might be worth getting Lexi to do it as its under warranty and you dont want to screw it up
