We planned the trip for about 3 months in advance and gained every bit of info as possible with help from European explorers and a fair bit of google earth!
We are doing Germany/Poland this August for 10 days, that will be harder in respect of tighter security/police but potentially better gains from it. I have bought the 'Idiots guide to German' LOL
