European sat nav/video camera/

I'm after a Sat nav package for the car but it has to do Europe as well and preferably have speed camera warnings etc. However I'm also thinking about getting a video camera for the car probably with some sort of bullet camera.
So I was thinking of maybe some sort of PDA with the ability to save video footage and then be used for sat nav is this possible or effective? If so how much?
The other thing is I'm looking at changing my contact phone and I know of the new sat nav can be loaded onto phones so this was another idea of how to get sat nav.
Anyone view or opinions?

IMHO dedicated equipment always works best.

So a separate sat-nav type thing...

... and a separate cheapo digi-cam would work best?

Bullet cam can be installed into your rear-view mirror (drilling required), and you can have your wires coming out of the glovebox (where you connect it to your videocam),

PDA sat nav tends to crash in my experience.... and doesn't find satellites very well either.

be carefull using speed camera warning equipment in europe, not sure about the rest but in france & i think spain they will smash it in front of you & give you a £3000 fine!!! you might think im exagerating but cheack it out for yourself!!!
