Covered 11k since May and looks like im gonna need a new set by 12-13k as their almost at the tread wear indicator, just wondered how every body else was getting on?
Theres not a lot of point asking anyone cause it all depends how you drive......................Im sure you could rag it down to a couple of hundred if you like eh
my front prob another 6 k so around 12k all in, back too prob around another 18k so 24k all in, but getting back 2 changed tomorrow anyway. keeping one good one as a spare for a new alloy.
Im at 10k and the fronts have about 1mm till they are on the wear bar. I reckon another 1-2k until I need to change which is good really considering I have been hooning it everywhere!
The rears are fine though and I reckon I could probably get 30k out of them!
mine have lasted very well, i treat them mean and they keep me kean!
I have done 3 trackdays with some very hard driving and cornering on them and they lasted 13k which is very good as I couldnt really have treated them any worse.
nooooooo dont swap the the rear unless you fancy the back end snapping out on you. there is nowhere near as much weight at the rear and it will have a tendancy to swing out if you have the tyres with least grip fitted to the rear. always have the most worn at the front
well in the dry its reversed... worn tyres are grippier cos the treadblocks dont move as much and the contact patch is greater. in the wets is more dangerous like
