Is there anyway of saving an Excel spreadsheet into a CSV file format but it being separated by semi colons instead of Commas? I have Commas in the text fields which is ballsing everything up.

Cheers.
Pete.

yes save as csv open in notepad and do a find and replace on all commas

But then it will replace all my commas in the text as Semi Colons, my only other thinking was to replace all commas in the text to colons, save as a CSV, open CSV in notepad change all commas to semi colons then change all colons back to commas....

BUt I got to explain it to dumbass users, so I just wanted something simple.

Cheers anyway.

if you are on office 2007 start a new doc, go to the 'data' tab, go to 'get external data' > 'from text' > select your file and follow the wizard.
