Yap only 64 bit and requires at least SP1 for 2008, however, I have read there are some complications and configurations are required on the host file??

Did you guys have to do this?

Plus, it's going to be a single box solution, only small company.

Thanks,

G.

2008 was launched as SP1;)

It also runs on 32 bit but is not supported, the beta version was 32 bit, never understood that. The only reason they keep it as 64 bit is because of the memory it needs, i.e. a shitload.

We've been running a clustered mailbox role and a separate hub/cas for nearly a year now without any issues, definitely go with 2008, much better product. Also, not had to mess with the hosts file.

  Better than yours. C*nt.
dk beat me to it - there is no SP1 for 2008 per se, it was released as SP1 to bring it in line with Vista as they intended to operate as they did with 2000.

Sorry. Didn't explain myself properly.

You need exchange 2007 sp1 for it to install on 2008 :)

Apologies , didn't mean windows 2008.

Regarding 32 bit, yap only in a testing environment, it's a little Fucker in regards to how much ram it needs :(

Looking forward to testing it out including getting active sync to work properly :)
