Exchange Server Experts!?

For Outlook Web Access...

Have a problem whereby the Exchweb virtual directory is buggered. Is it possible to delete the existing broken one and create a new virtual directory and call it the same name without screwing up the whole exchange install?

At the moment when I try and access files in that folder over the web I get Error: Access is denied.

I've copied the contents and made a new virtual directory and it works fine. I think the permissions have ballsed up.

Help appreciated.

Ooooh I don't think its limited mate... Bung me a PM with your email and i'll show you a screen grab of how it looks... OWA allows you to login, and use it, just not see any images or themes?! weird as hell.

I didn't know either until we hit the limit and couldn't work out why things has suddenly stopped working. PM on the way.

Its odd. We can login and use it, just the entire contents of the Exchweb folder are missing.

If you go to http://ipaddress/exchweb you should get:

Directory Listing Denied

This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

instead... I get:

Error: Access is Denied.

I've compared 2 identical servers now and even adjusted the permissions to match... can't re-create the error.

I remember reading somewhere that if OWA get buggered up, you can just delete the folders from within IIS and it recreates them back to the default automatically.

I'll try and find the tutorial......
