Yepe I agree with you about the 97hp being a bit high but the owner said thats what it did on the rollers at the superchips place.
The 1.5 will always be relivivly slow its a small engine but being a turbo means more power is alaiable unlke the 1.2 16V
The 65 gives about 70hp as diesel seem to generate more power after bedding in. The 80hp gives 85 hp.
The superchipped car will have a full remap ie not a tunning box which just increases flow it will also increase boost which is imortant to allow the fuel to be burnt and stop the car beltching black smoke out.
To get almost 100hp from a stock engine means boost must be up around 1.2 bar which means intake temps are around 140degrees which is to much. Should be intercooled if you inted going for this power level. (dropping an big intercooler into the car will giv move power as well)
Im suprised someone hasnt brought out a tunning kit for the DCI I expect 120hp should be easy to obtain and 140hp or so relively easy the box is strong and the internals on all versions are the same and hold back 200lb torque on chipped 80hp versions (the 80 has an intercooler due to higher boost levels of 1.1 vs 0.9 for the 65).
