Exhaust recommendations

Looking like I might have to change the exhaust to get through my next MOT. What systems do people recommend for something that's not too loud but adds a bit of sound to the car.

Janspeed I've got fitted was cheap and quiet with a nice sound.
80quid used cat back resonated

I had a ktec 2.25 which was decatted and unsilenced, sounded ace.
