exhausts

  Renault clio 1.4RT
ive got a 1.4 clio RT and the back bumper covers the exhuast and i was wondering what an acceptable price would be to have it lowered???

  Chocolate Bar™
doesnt make any sense to me ? you want your exhaust lowered so its below the bumper?

invariably, an aftermarket exhaust will have different hangers/brackets therefore lowering the position of the tail pipe

i think that's what he means

if it doesn't, you've bought a piece of s**t and i'd return it asap and get a decent exhaust from someone like scorpion or magnex

oh and make sure it's declared too ;) there's a good boy

much easier if you explain, slowly and fully

to get this far we've all had to make assumptions

the way you worded the post made it look like you wanted the car lowered :S

most aftermarket exhausts are lower, you can get a custom exhaust from powerflow if you want it exaclty how you want it. you say your 16?

use of language tells us you're not lying about your age either ;) english alphabet has 26 letters, helpgul if you can piece them together to spell real words ;)

172 lights will not fir a 1.4 rt, you can get a HID conversion kit, but that's a different matter,t he 172 lights are a different shape altogether

  Renault clio 1.4RT
i aint got a clue what im on about then cuz renault told me it was 172 lights but all i kno is that der on mk2 sport model n thats what a guy at motor world told me who owned 1

if you are 16 have you got a driving licence?
impossible, you can own a provisional licence, but it will only have motorcycle entitlements on it, and even then, 50cc or less

never knew there was a mk1 ph1 1.4 rt, always just thought it was the mk1

if it's MY97-00 it's a mk2 ph1 (i think them years are correct)

and please, try to use the english language and not txt tlk, it's frustrating for people trying to translate your posts :(

in which case you need the double optic headlights, they are not specific to the 172, these are available from most good car parts shops/breakers yards

the model of the car is a

Mk2 Ph1 Renault Clio 1.4 RT

this should clear it up for future reference

you can get the 172 double optic headlights for the 1.4 but they expensive, unless you can source them from somewhere else ie ebay etc. then i believe they have to be rewired to work in the 1.4

which is quite an easy rewiring job, plenty of people on here have done it, and there used to be a walk through guide to doing it too

  Mégane RS
Make sure you stay off the roads until you are allowed to drive legaly, and have all the normal requirements as you dont want to brake the law no do you :D

  Renault clio 1.4RT
ill work on it just for you bryan ( c im doin betta alreay lol ) only jokin.......can i ask for your suggestions on how to have my sound system?

  Renault clio 1.4RT
just a decent sub and amp wid 4 speakers nothing large like just enough to get some quality sound out if you know what i mean (sorry if that confuses ya m8 )

  Mégane RS
if you want a quality sub go for an alpine and just have your speakers upgraded and you can have it all amped if you can find a decent enough amp, also you might want to change the tweeters as they aren't that good to be honest

  Mégane RS
it can very, it all depends on what you want and how much you have to play with, a decent sub anywhere between £50-hundreds, amps- there are hundreds to choose from and depends on what you need, and speakers are not that expensive either

budget is all important with ICE

if you've got £300 to spend Brun has an excellent system for sale in the other parts for sale section, Phase linear sub and phase evolution amp, i recommended them to him, and would do so again as i rate them that highly.

as for door speakers, have a look at rainbow, crystal, DLS, genesis and boston, all of these make excellent speakers once you start getting into the £150 territory for the 130mm components
