Exterior Work!!!

I have just bought a car from a fella who has not been too careful with the way in which he parks. Infact, the amount of kerbing that are on the alloys you would think it was a female.... yeah really ...that bad!!!!


Anyway, I have been looking at various places on the net to were I can get these Alloys refurbed. I have made enquiries with www.lepsons.com , but they do seem a little dear..@ £55 + VAT per wheel. Ok not too bad but I have heard of people getting it done elsewhere for £45 inc VAT...

I also have a surface scratch that should be easily taken care of by a decent professional.

I have heard about "Chip Away" but I'm yet to make an enquiry. Have people been happy with there service and the quality of there work. Are there any other places that you would recommend. Are Lepsons worth the money due to there standard of work. Are Chip Away cometitively priced.

Any help with any of these questions would be a major help.

My location is Kent/South East London.. so if there are any places that you can recommend I would prefer it to be around an abouts the M25 greater London area's or South East London!!

i called chipsaway earlier and was shocked at how much they wanted.

i've used them before for stone chips and they did an excellent job, but they wanted 45quid to build up and spray a damaged lip. then they wanted 30quid a wheel to repair some minor curb marks.

quite expensive when you consider my local refurbisher will refurb them all in for 180 including removing/fitting tyres, balancing etc.etc.

Hi Xtreme,

There is a really good place in Tonbridge called 'Spit & Polish', there located on the industrial estate just a couple of doors down from the Renault garage. There work is meant to be A+, as i have read loads of reviews of there work. Went past the place the other day and they had one of them brand new Bentley Continental 4 door saloons parked outside jacked up, imagine kerbing one of them.
So give them a call i dont know how much they charge but i need mine done too.

It wasn't very hard to work out to be honest..

I live in Gravesend where there is a large Asian community and there are lots of families with the name Cheema about.

would guildford be too far to travel? Esquisite (SP) have done all the work on my clio, and it has been top notch.
they would prob know some1 to help with the wheel re-furb as well.
