f**king car transporters

  E36 323i coupe

It really pisses me off, that you are spending £13grand on a car, and they cant get the car to you for the date they stated. I was told on Friday that my new Cup was in the country, and that it would be delivered on Wednesday 22nd. On Tuesday 21st I was told it would indeed be delivered on the 22nd. On the 22nd in the morning I was told it would be the 24th, and then in the afternoon I was told it was now going to be the 29th. For f**ks sake! Apparently there arent enough cars to make the transporters journey worthwhile. My f**king arse!

This puts everything out. No point in going to Donnington on Sunday without a car. The ICE boot install is sitting at the car sound specialists workshop and his Saturday is buggered as he had planned for the car to be in.

What can I get for this delay? Can I make them give me free mats, and other things for the delay? Its utter sh*te... and its not just Cups and 172s: my mates wife was told three weeks ago her Dynamique would be there the next day and only turned up two weeks later.

When youre spending this amount of money on a car, you expect at the very least for it to be delivered on time. Why say its coming when its not? Surely better to say a later date, and then if it turns up before then all the better. Now Im worried some little tw*t is pissing around with it with the speedo unplugged down South somewhere.

And another thing... Sarahs Dynamique turned up with 7miles on the clock. Surely that is enough to make it NOT a new car?!

END OF RANT

My Cup delivery date was put back on 3 occasions.

The dealer coughed up free mats and the first main service at 12,000 miles for free.

Also had a courtesy car for 4 weeks.

yer Iv had three brand new cars and my last one (Saxo vts) has 12 miles on the clock when I got it, apparently the factorys are quite big in france!!!

All new cars will have some miles on the clock, each vehicle made has to be tested and driven. Its part of the PDI final inspection to check for enginegearbox and anythig else to ensure its ok for the customer to take delivery of.

Well Im going to look at new houses on Saturday and am very tempted to tell my broker whwre to stick his car. Might cost me 500 notes but save me an extra 12 grand, so I can get a bigger house !!!

12 weeks since I ordered..........not amused !!
