What does this standard for?? i look at it everytime i open my bonnet and ask myself the same question..

Does anybody know?

My theory is Renault labelled their engines a b c d e f.. at one point, they definately did e and c's as well, the 16 must be 16valve, i....injection, e, ummmm energy. really guessing now.

I = Injection
E = Electronique
