Hi,

I have been trying to get a part for my car from my local dealer and they have ordered the wrong part three times!!!

Can u give me the part number and the correct name for the head light washer ball (just the ball) that sits in the front bumper?? So I can tell them exactly what to order...and do you know how to fit one?? Can I fit it myself?? or does the whole bumper have to come off, if so how long will this take???

as far as i know its a bumber off job and the replace the whole washer jet part, on the 3rd one now

VIV - yeh - this has been a problem with a lot of 172,s. I will get you the pt number but i will need your chassis no & reg. e -mail it to me on mailto:matt@mattsvette.co.uk">matt@mattsvette.co.uk The bumper does have to come off but its a simple enough job. Funny enough we did a lot over winter. I think it was due to the water freezing in the jets & causing them to expand & break ????

any other ideas ??

your rear brake light though 7700429000

that should sort it

Think Ill just order the part and get someone else to fit it at those labour prices!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont mind paying for it, but really cant justify spending £60ish for a bit of plastic that was missing when I bought the car .

Esspecialy when compaired to £100 per alloy wheel including fitting, that Ive just had done, for example..........
