Fao Everyone Insured With Elephant

Peeps, if you have a new car do not insure through elephant unless you realise that elephant do not offer a new car if yours written off or stolen and not recovered within the first 12 months, my current insurer offers a new car if repairs cost 60% of uk list price, elephant will only offer book value so if you car is nicked within days you will loose out bit style, this perhaps explains why they are so cheap compared to other insurers.

yeah its sh*tty but theyre not actually obliged too.

normally insurers offer this service because they get huge discounts from the manufacturers, so its actually cheaper for them to get u a new car rather then pay u out.

Elephant are rip of merchants IMO.

We have just moved house, to a better area and with a big garage etc. My bird is with elephant for her VW Polo, it cost her £24 odd to change address. Fine you may think, but when I called Tesco to change my details with them for the Cup, they gave me £25 back!??

eye but how can one company (elephant) charge to change your address, yet the other (Tesco) gives us a refund???
