At a guess i would say the springs are a different rate and the damping is firmer due to the considerably higher weight of the 2.0 engine and transmission. Probably find on top of that the geometry is different so plates that mount to the hub carriers will be different.
 


bolt spacing at the hub, i think its 58mm or 52mm for the clio range and 56mm?? for the sport.

and ^^^^ damping rate due to the engine weight. think springs are the same, on suspension kits they are not to sure about coilovers

although im using the coilovers i have on my 1.2 16v for my megane RS 255 conversion, just changing the springs
