depends what ISP you use, but you probably get your DNS server dynamically through the DHCP server
for example in windows 2000:
Right click on my network places, select Properties
Right click on the Local Area Connection which applies to your cable modem, select properties
click on Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click properties.
click the radio button "use the following DNS server addresses"
In the Primary DNS address type 213.171.193.36 then click okay then okay
now open up your browser and view the k-tec site.
to go back to the way it was go back into DNS settings and change it back to obtain DNS servers automatically.
