In september the homesdale tunnel is being repaired.

This means that it will be partialy closed for a year.

Traffic will be diverted through watham cross and waltham abbey.

The tunnel itself is in a bad way the ventilation and lights arent working properly, add to this the fact that the concrete is corroding.

if you use this route on a daily basis i would start figuring out a way to avoid it.

So if its partially closed and there are divertions can I just ignore the divertion and go through the tunnel where there will be no traffic
