FAO People with FK Coilovers/Koni Adjustables

How did you fit your rear shocks?

Did you use the standard renault dustcover and bumpstops that came off the original shocks and what rubber/washers did you use in the top mounts?

This is what I have and i dont know what order the rubbers/washers go in?!? :(

Top rubber needs turning upside down and the bottom washer putting on it as it is.

The other rubber as it is with the flat washer under it. I do remember debating this myself as the instructions supplied are pants.

Btw .... i also used the original Renault bump stop etc...

The other rubber and flat washer I cannot see on the car. I do remember debating this myself as the instructions supplied are pants.

Have you got instructions? If you have could you photograph them or something and post them up?

Also can you take a photo of the top strut inside the boot so i can see what you mean about the rubber and washers? Where does the bottom washer go?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm so confused. Would be so much easier if they fit the standard renault rubber!

The picture you have posted, is that the way u have been trying to fit the washers and rubber etc?

Or did u just put them on the shocks at random to take the pic?

Seems very odd, don't think the Ph1 Ph2 things comes into it. You defo got Koni Clio shocks and the stndard Renault top bits?

Yup to both, the only visual difference is the piston rod is thicker on the Konis :S:S

Yeh thats the same for me. So you need the rubber bits like i have instead of renault stuff.

Bumping this thread as you both appear to have been through the same scenario that I have now encountered...

Mine are the FK Highsports so being a slightly thinner piston rod, does this mean I can use the original Renault parts?

I've fitted used ones that have come without the rubbers by drilling out the renault bushes by I think 2mm (please measure first, I dont remember) There's also an insert on the originals that you have to leave out

Danny, is there any chance that you could do a bit of drilling on some standard rear bushes if I supplied them? I've had no luck from ANY of the companies I've contacted about purchasing just FK bushes...
