Fast gearchange grind/crunch into 4th

Maybe a silly question, but when driving my 182 if I change gear normally they all engage smoothly and quietly. Today I was just cruising on the way home from work and noticed that if I pulled the gearstick really quickly from 3rd to 4th it would feel almost 'too easy' to go into 4th and make a slight grind/crunch.

Is this this crunching/grinding going to get worse and eventually start doing it even when I change gear slowly?

Possibly just a worn synchro?

Worth a gearbox oil change anyway at the least, also a lot of manufacturers offer treatments for worn gear syncros etc that you can add to the gearbox oil.
