Fast Road/Race Pads...

I am about to uprate my brakes, as for some reason I keep overheating the bloody things and the garage assures me there is nothing wrong with them. I have read on there forums about fast road/race pads. People say that they are not very good at low temperatures or low speeds(i.e. they are v.good between 90-60 but not so good between 30-0). By "not very good" do these people mean that they are worse then the standard pads which I have or just not as good as at high speeds?

If these are not for me, anyone have any suggestions? BB performance have some Pagid pads and discs for £97.00 these any good? And should I replace all 4 or just the front as that is were all the braking is done?

depends how worn the rears are - the bias is about 60-40 front-rear. not very good is only comparative compared to their performance at their optimum speeds, i.e. higher. also, will be a bit mroe sh*t than standard from cold, i remember the other day i almost ran into an old lady when my brakes were cold, they just carry on! but thats not somethign to be over-cautious about, i have the ktec/EBC kevlar pads and overall the bite is much better than standard.
