FAULTY TDC SENSORS

when a tdc sensor is faulty does it show when the car is plugged into the diagnostic machine?

as im told that the sensor isnt faulty as it would of shown up on machine...i seem to be back to square one with the car not starting..is it best just to change the sensor anyway?

Hi just had my crank sensor done on my car today it was turning but no spark and when put into diagnostic machine it didnt really show up but it was the problem all the same.
Starts like a dream now so im happy

If a light appears on the dash/the car doesn't start at all then I'm guessing it'll show up on the machine (mine did).

If not, try wiggling it about or taking it out and cleaning it to see if that fixes anything.
