Suzuki SV650
Here are mine from the day, although my mate Bec was in charge of the camera mostly. Tried to film some of the corner action from the CS tracktime but the fence was a bit s**t really!
Convoy down from LFE was good, I wondered why we were going off at J21 into Leicester and driving by where I live, but the A6 was fun except for that Saxo getting in the way. It was a shame it was raining as it meant I had to go uber slow around corners & roundabouts, my tyres are pretty er, worn down to say the least.
Was great to see some old faces, Elliot, Donny, MatB, Yozza & Fred (I type that as if they are a couple?!) I didn't get around to chatting to as many people as I'd have liked too though as I'd had about 1 hours sleep from the night before (damn the on-license trade).
Some nice cars on our stand, my favourite was the Mk 2 Phs II White Cup racer lookalike. Good turnout by our club and also the Willy and Meggy lot. Its a shame the space we got allocated was the size of a shoebox.
Anyone else notice those Audi R8's in the corner? I think they may have been the best pieces of kit at the show!
Guy on the mic was highly annoying, (couldn't they get 2 or 3 different peeps to do it throughout the day? A female voice would have been welcome!) and the stuff on show was very dire. Shame we couldn't get closer to the tracktime action like at Bruntingthorpe, and god, q'ing for ages to get into the show was a total ballache. But at least the weather wasn't *that* bad...
Anyway...
