Yes but people told me Hankooks were crap & they piss all over CS3's & exaltos;)

They are very, very good in my opinion. Directional, good wear properties, good grip wet/dry/cold. Did 20 laps of the 'Ring in a set this year and no scrubbing even on the shoulders. The 595SS are for the road and the RSs for the track; I'd have the RSs over the R888s any day.

Not really heard of them before but will take a look thanks for the heads up Phil.

i have never heard of them either but reading up on them now

seem to get quite good reviews

i love the narrowness of everyone (myself included lol)

Federal in my eyes poo but thats because i never heard of any one ever using them.
so i stayed well away and stuck to what every one else used

being a sheep FTL and following the trend police lol

if you get what i mean

The ones i've been offered are SS for road use.
If they are not dangerous i may get them as they come with brand new pro race alloys:D

Glad to see not all CS'ers are sheep ;)

Will look at the RS as & when i need some trackday rubber:D

I'm thinking of trying the federals or the maxsport rb4 for track next year.

Have these on mine as I was not to flush and needed all 4 changing. They are ok and that’s about all I can say. Grip is not bad until you drive on a wet road then you really need to slow down. You also get lots of lift off oversteer no matter if it’s wet or dry.

And that's what you've got to remember when comparing them...they are not as grippy as a trackday special like the R-S2s. However, they will take a beating on track and not fall apart like a T1-R.

I had S595's on my Fiat Stilo and I thought they were a lot better than the Pirelli's and latterly the Vredesteins. I recall paying about £60 a corner though.
