I'd love one in a year or two but the supercharged ones are meant to be terrible on fuel. Only reason to point me to the turbo? They're meant to be very good on fuel!

I was told the supercharged version is more fuel efficient at higher revs than the turbo one.

Looks nice though, love the plate on both cars. Especially on the R8, gangsta!!

Its easy to get over 41 mpg on the mway at 70 ish plus. with the clio i used to get 37 and go continous 60mph to get over 40 mpg. Highest Ive had at constant 60-70mph is 49.5 mpg.

I still think the turbo one is more frugal though.

Yes the P/S pump is a bit faulty!

Mother was driving along, when all the steering just stopped working...

Basically the seals on the pump went, flooded the steering rack causing it all to just lock up and be useless.

£1500 later it was all fixed.

Yea sold the A3, bit too mature for me, still great at what it was tho, nice cruiser.

No drag on the crank from the supercharger, the turbo is always going to be better on fuel.

Mini claim 32MPG for Supercharge'd, 45MPG for Turbo'd...big difference!
