Fiesta ST data-logged on the dyno...

My tt runs 1.4 bar. Perfectly normal for a high power turbo.

How do you record the data log?

Good results and pretty bang on the money for what they offer.

Back in the day If an Escort RS turbo had 21psi+ the turbo wouldnt last very long. How times change.

Mark,

How do you actually record the live data? I know you use Torque or Dashcommand but how do you record whats happening for the video if that makes sense? Probably something simple..

iirc they ran 5 as standard, I remember a mate having a silly silly fast one, he reckoned it was running over 2 bar!! It was always in a non working state lol, plus you could hold a camp fire round the manifold.

Torque to log all the ECU data from a bluetooth OBD transmitter, HD Hero 2 to record the video, RaceRender 2 to combine them. To ensure minimal synchronisation issues I always aim to start both the logging and video recording on my GoPro at exactly the same time.

Then I simply use RaceRender2 to pull the data and the video together...it gives me all the graphs/dials I could want and you can then play around with the data and layout until your heart's content.

Boost is relative to turbo size, 19psi from a little one is very different from 19psi from a huge one!

Or you can just use the track recorder within the Torque app;).
