Filler survive shotblasting?

I'm planning on getting my Turinis powdercoated silver this summer. But I have previously refurbed them myself and had to use filler on parts as they were quite badly kerbed.

I emailed Cas Coatings where I was planning on getting them done, and they said:

"All your filler would be blasted away so we wouldnt really know how they would turn out until they were blasted."

If the filler was blasted away I'd be left with star shaped wheels as they were chipped and chunks were taken out of the edge before I DIY refurbed them.

Basically what I want to know is will the filler definitely come off and is there any other way to get the wheels powdercoated if that is so? As all I can think of is letting them shot blast them, then I'll have to use filler again to neaten off the wheels and then let them powdercoat them?

Thanks for any help!

Thinking back I used chemical metal filler, I assume this would be ok then?
