finally got the buckets in there; bad pics

Long time ago i posted some pics off ebay to see what some of you thought about these seats, well they're finally in there It turns out the color was (almost) spot on; the pics on ebay did'nt show the right color !


I'll post them again tommorow, my handy could'nt do the job with the daylight left. Shame, washed the car especially for the pic...
Also got a deepdish (9cm deep!) steeringwheel , real improvement for my seating position. The wheel was always too far way from me when placing back the seat for comfy peddal position.

Happy with it... Next job ; Cams ??

Not a fan of coloured seats, looks a bit chavvy. Look comfy though, and love the wheel.

Yeh thought it would be chavvy too, but in real life they look quite okay.. The blue is leather (prob. chickenleather) . WHen i saw them on ebay the colour was even lighter and never thought i would mount them the way they were.. turned out to be darker .

6,3 kg seats btw

Yes , these are Sparco seats, They were the last ones... Sparco have stopped making them. Would have gotten them in black but the last two black ones were sold before i could get my hands on 'em..

They're Roadsters . Yep i'm using the OEM buckles
These are semi-buckets, makes the getting in + out a lot easier ! Also the seatbelts do'nt rub the seats, top or bottom !
I think full buckets are chavvy unless you do track ofcourse

Seats are a little OTT for me, but the wheel looks good!

believe me , i'm the last to go for a "max-tuning" look, i'm too old. And when i was younger i still hated bling-tuning.
They're just right in real life.... but black would have been better I just loved the type of seat; not being full buckets.
Maybe in time i will get them retrimmed if it's not too expensive. It was all about weightsaving anyway
