  Renault Clio 1.2
Finally, after 2 weeks, 5 cans of primer, s**t loads of wet a dry, 3 cans of laquer, and 4 cans of paint, my clio is fully colour coded. Door handles, wing mirrors, back and front bumper and side strips.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the info that FM_AVA_696 and others gave me in how to complete my car.

Im pleased with the way its turned out.

i'll get some pics up tomorrow when its lighter and shes had a clean.

In the mean time, cheers, Ollie

no probs. all in all, including the wet and dry paper it cost around £80. That 8 cans of primer, 8 cans of laquer and 6 cans of the colour spray. But thats cheap compared to a body shop. Got a quote from a pretty mediocre bodyshop of £440 +VAT. Thought f00k that, cant be too hard.so did it myself. Anyone who wants to done in the devon area, give me a shout, i wont charge much and i'll even go out and get all the paints etc

looks 100x better....i really need mine doing

im in yeovil...not too far away from plymouth!!

as said...any close up pics??

  Renault Clio 1.2
im actually outside plymouth, so approximately 11 miles closer to yeovil. Yep when the shite whether stops, and i can clean the darn thing, i'll get a load of pics up. Close ups etc. After taking this pic, i then used some farecla g3 cutting compound, to cut in all the paint work, sso that it worked down to the correct shade. In the pick it looks a tad bluer than the real paint work, but i've made it exact now.

ok mate, thanks....does it look quite proffesional??

how much would you charge to do mine?

ooo, i donno how much i'd charge. Personally i think it looks pretty mint, and dont see how a bodyshop could have done much better. Its a simple job, just very time consuming. Id firstly need you rub down all the parts of the you want doing, then ud have to bring the car to me and leave it for a weekend. U have to allow the paint to go rock hard before any laquer can go on. U'd have to give me a price
