Just cant stop smiling. Took a 172 for a test drive for the first time...And its just a bit more powerful than my 1.2 dynam at the moment.

SO ..

Put a deposit down for a 51plate flame red with 2 owners and 32k on the clock for a total of £5500 from a trader . It needs the 36 service this year and new breaks ... so add another 500quid to that...

Cant wait to pick it up on thursday..

Now its just the wait, had my cup 3 weeks. We paid for it on the saturday and had to wait til monday cause I wanted a new MOT on it (just as well cause it needed new brakes on the back!). Monday came, I got home from work and the car was still waiting to be MOT'D having being like a kid on xmas eve all day. Phoned them up, "be ready tomorrow lunchtime mate". Flew home from work (in the Mrs' Golf) at lunch, "not ready yet mate, needs brakes". Gutted, back to work! Finally got it that night, and I couldn't believe how quick it was, the torque steer took me by surprise and thats after a Fiesta RST, XR2I, Rover 220 GTI (not to be under estimated!) and the Golf. I also drove my mates red-top astra gsi, but the cup pisses all over them all! Happy driving mate, I know you'll love it!
