Finding a Re-placement dCI engine???

Does anyone know how much I could get hold of a dCI engine??
Just had news that the one in my work van (cliovan) is f**ked. Want to get an idea of prices, and cost of fitting, to compare against just getting a new van.
Being as the clio has done 150k since 04/05 it was getting close to being changed anyway.
Really not the best time of year to do either really.
Any info would be great, cheers.

Im no expert but id say about a grand fitted. And with 150k on the clock I cant imagine the van in working order is worth that tbh. But like I say im no mechanic. It cost my x £800 to have a REconed engine fitted to her corsa.

Yeah thats what I was thinking around, should last a good while more too. Got to make it work to pay for itself.

Its quick enoug to swop the engine can be done in a day easy only possible isues are if you have any wiring/ecu issues if you get the wrong engine etc or the ecu is fried etc.

You'll need a Renault clip or similar to program the injectros codes though.

Second hand try renault specilaist breakers there not cheap for the engine but they have warenties £500 I think they ask for them not sure if that plus vat don't think so

Wrexham is north wales.
I would try either WJ Furber (just outside shrewsbury) or Car Transplants (middlewich)
There are some other smaller ones in the area though i do believe.
