Yeh i got a fine for my 3/4 numberplate the other night.All they did is ask me to pay the fine no mention of changing it.Anyway what should i do
1.Keep it on and risk getting fined again
2.Take it off and get standard
3.Get something different(slightly smaller than standard vinyl)

no brainer really, the number plates are that size/colour/font for a reason.. and not just to catch you speeding through camera's

ANPR/DVLA can't read them properly if they aren't the right font size.

i think 3/4 plates dont look right personally, looks odd whee u can see the cutout for a full plate.

You wouldnt say the same if sum1 hit your prode and joy and managed to get away.... You try and get the licence plate but its to small or the lettering has been messed with would you?

Nothing wrong with standard easy to read plates....

Rare from someone on here to overeact. If they were getting away I'd probably look at the rear plate anyway...Ive never seen a 3/4 rear plate. x

Don't think they look great as the bumper still has all the space for the norml sized plate, doesn't look right. Stick a normal one on and it'll look even better

^^ they would put an intel. report in on your vehicle so that other Officers are aware should you continue to abuse the law. Using a car on a road is a privilege not a right, you should respect the rules like the majority of other road users do, plus it makes your car look crap anyway...
