Firefox Volume...

Ive just been trying to watch some videos on Firefox but it dosent play sound. Been on Beatport and DNB Arena and the songs arent playing either. Cant figure out the problem, anyone got any ideas?

Im on a laptop... and I can hear music I play from WMP.

It could be another program is holding the access to the soundcard open, hence the plugin firefox uses cannot access it and thus wont play sound...

I've known WMP to do this a few times.

What programs are running at the same time?

Nothing at the moment except Firefox. Just watched an embedded video and it worked, changed to a different page and its stopped again! Really wierd.

got the same. all music works apart from in firefox. youtube etc loads but no sound.

happened for me yesterday to and closing firefox and re starting it sorted it but it didn't solve it tonight...

ok, my firefox just shut down by itself without any prompt and then i opened it agin. it appears ot work for sound now. odd.

Was working fine 10 mins ago. All of a sudden stopped.

Edit:

closing firefox and re starting it sorted it

This just worked for me
