I know there are lots of threads on these but I have 1 quick question.
Is it worth getting the 4K fire tv?
My tv is 4K.

All the "illegal" content won't be in 4K. You'll only get 4K netflix and I think Amazon Prime does 4K too?

But yeah I'm surprised your 4K TV doesn't have smart features anyway, although that said I'd always go for a standalone box like the fire TV and a non smart TV. I generally don't like them.

Amazon app is really picky with what TV's it actually shows 4K content on. No-one knows why, they're just dicks about it.
Quite a few older (but high spec) sets had issues with getting Amazon 4K.

Can't remember if other apps are also like that? Netflix is usually fine if that helps.
