**firework hit my car**

ffs went out this morning just to wave the wife off to work and noticed a dent in the middle of the roof upon further inspection there is a ba*tard firework on the border at the side of the car,bad thing is i cant prove where it came from but the knob next door has been setting them off,does anyone know how much it would cost to sort out with a small dent removal company.

Sorry to hear the bad news mate, these guys are spot on though, they are near me in colchester essex. but there are usually lots of people doing the same thing all over the country.

Chips away did a good touch up for me; not sure if they do dents or not, maybe worth a try.

just had a few estimates,looking to be between £50 and £70,depending on how easy it is to access it because with the sounds of it the roof lining as got to messed with to get to it,anyone know what the roof lining is like to work with on a phase1 172,ie is it a hard job to remove,the dent is roughly where the ariel is on a phase2 172.

Jeez guys liten up, tehre is nothing wrong with setting off fireworks, i don't think he spent all night aiming them so they came down on your car, its just one of those things.

if a lorry kicks a stone up and it puts a crack accross your windscreen, do you chase the lorry down and call the bloke a wanker? no becasue A) if he is like mopst truckers i know he woudl drive over your car, or smack you, and B) becasue its not hsi fault, yes he was driving the lorry that kicked the stone, up and yes arguably if he had driven 6" to teh left he prolly wouldn't ahve kicked it up.

Yes its unfortuanate that you have a dent, but s**t thats life, sort it and move on
