First attempt at slow shutter speed shots

I dont have a proper SLR camera, but i have discovered the slowers shutter speed setting on my camera (TZ5).

Anyway, here is my first attempt. I actually think they came out pretty good for a non-slr camera. However, i think the orange street lights saturate the photos abit to much!

Not bad. Id correct the white balance if I were you.

Where are the manual controls?! My Mum has a TZ5 and I couldnt find any!

Set it on the scene mode 'starry night'

You need full manual control and a better location to get the best results for this kind of thing
